Ens. Bicknese served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and died while on leave from the Los Alamitos Naval Air Station in California.

Richard Ervin Birdsley was born May 18, 1916 to Samuel R. and Goldie E. Holdren Birdsley. He died Nov. 13, 1942 is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Birdsley served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA/KIA aboard the USS Barton (DD-599) in the participation in the Third Battle of Savo Island and became MIA/KIA.

William Lewis Booth was born Nov. 10, 1916 to Roy and Ivy G. Curl Booth. He died Mar. 15, 1943 (at sea) and has a cenotaph in Springdale Cemetery, Clinton, IA. He is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Chief Petty Officer Booth served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Triton (SS-201). He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Everett Edwin Bruggenwirth was born July 24, 1903 to Franz and Anna Schnepel Bruggenwirth. He died Mar. 7, 1945 and is buried in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton, IA.

Chief Petty Officer Bruggenwirth served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was KIA as the result of a mine explosion while in the service of his country in the South Pacific.
