Burdette N. Anderson was born June 28, 1919 to Howard E. and Frances Nary Anderson. He died Mar. 27, 2012 and is buried in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton, IA

Burdette served in World War II with the U.S. Army in the European Theatre of Operations.

Vernon Leroy Anderson was born Sept. 15, 1922 to Arthur E. and Katherine Jaarsma Anderson . He died May 22, 1973 and is buried in Calvary Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum, Dallas, TX.

Petty Officer Anderson served in World War II with the U.S. Coast Guard.

Arthur LeRoy Ashton was born Jan. 3, 1925 to Harry Oscar and Laura Chapman Ashton. He died Oct. 26, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Springdale Cemetery, Clinton, IA.

Petty Officer Ashton served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Smith (DD-378) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that destroyer was attacked by enemy dive bombing and torpedo planes in the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
