Wendle Adonis Pederson was born Dec. 26, 1924 to Alfred Oscar and Jetty L. Beall Pederson. He died Aug. 22, 1942 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, East Coast Memorial, New York, NY.

Seaman Apprentice Pederson served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Ingraham (DD-444) and was MIA/FOD/KIA while serving aboard that vessel when it was involved in a collision with the USS Chemung (AO-30) and sank almost immediately.

Gilbert Fred “Bud” Peglow was born June 30, 1918 to Fred J. and Fay Ruth Gilbert Peglow. He died Apr. 11, 2009 and is buried in Monona Cemetery, Monona, IA.

Lt. Commander Peglow served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Corps as a torpedo bomber pilot and served aboard the USS Suwannee (CVE-27) with Air Group 27. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross with three Oak Leaf Clusters, the Air Medal with nine Oak Leaf Clusters and the Legion of Merit.

Charles Frederick Peick was born Oct. 12, 1921 to William and Amanda Piehl Peick. He died Apr. 22, 2009 and is buried in Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.

Cpl. Peick served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps.
