Robert Merlin Odegard was born May 19, 1923 to Charles Theodore and Lydia Ida Hofer Odegard. He died July 4, 1945 and is buried in Marion Lutheran Cemetery, Gunder, IA. 

Pvt. Odegard served with the U.S. Army Engineers in World War II.

Otto Kenneth Oelke was born Sept. 10, 1906 to Arno Helmut Fritz and Frances Hanschen Oelke. He died Oct. 30, 1980 and is buried in Der Stadt Friedhof Cemetery, Fredericksburg, TX.

Capt. Oelke served in World War II with the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps.

Thomas William “Tom” Ohmer was born Feb, 2, 1924 to Francis Xavier “Frank” and Theresa Marie Gruenenfelder Ohmer. He died Oct. 15, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Ohmer served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Meredith (DD-434) which was sunk by enemy action in the South Pacific. He was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
