Myron William Fred Ihde was born Dec. 23, 1922 to Elmer G. and Viola Rose Suckow Ihde. He died Apr. 30, 2010 and is buried in Saint Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Monona, IA.

Sgt. Ihde served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 388th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force as a tail gunner on a Flying Fortress. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Purple Heart.

Bruce James Irwin was born Apr. 8, 1921 to Ralph J. and Ethel M. Wilson Irwin. He died Mar. 17, 1944 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Ensign Irwin served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was KIA in the Pacific area as the pilot of a plane that crashed and sank.
