Walter Ralph “Ralph” Kemis was born October. 22, 1908 to Walter Alden and Edith Witt Kemis. He died May 28, 1948 and is buried in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer, IA. Walter served in World War II.

Dayle Burdette Klett was born Apr. 7, 1924 to Charles W. and Mabel Ellen Hakeman Klett. He died Sept. 17, 1943 and has a cenotaph in Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly, IA.

Dayle served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Virgil Leslie Krager was born Feb. 1, 1917 to Theodore and Minnie Paulsen Krager. He died Aug. 4, 1944 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, IA. 

Cpl. Krager served in World War II with the U.S. Army 739th Tank Battalion and died of wounds received in action in Belgium.
