Jesse George “Bud” Dale Archer was born Jan. 26, 1922 to James Levi and Josephine Agnes Eischen Archer. He died July 28, 1988 and is buried in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls, IA.

Cpl. Archer served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 447th Bomb Group, Third Air Division as a member of the ground crews servicing the B-17 Flying Fortresses out of England.
