Henry George Vanis was born Aug. 8, 1914 to Vincent and Julia Vanis. He died Dec. 1, 1943 and is buried in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Lemay, MO.
Sgt. Vanis served with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was KIA in Burma.
