Raymond Howard “Ray" Selders was born Oct. 1, 1925 to George S. and Ruth V. Lipp Selders. He died July 12, 2009.

Ray served in World War II with the U.S. Army at the Battle of the Bulge. He received the Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Rifle Expert Shooter Badge, and the European-Africa-Middle Eastern Service Ribbon with two battle stars.
