Daniel Anthony Katalinich was born June 1, 1925 to Anton “Tony” and Manda Katalinich. He died Apr. 20, 1944 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Katalinich served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and died as the result of a plane crash while in the performance of his duty and in the service of his country.

Milo Robert Kendall was born Jan. 14, 1923 to Glen Benjamin and Mayme Trusty Kendall. He died Sept. 7, 1945 and is buried in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo, IA.

Petty Officer Kendall served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Mervin William Kerr was born Jan. 8, 1920 to Samuel Franklin and Gertrude Evelyn Klein Kerr. He died Sept. 11, 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.

Petty Officer Kerr served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Rowan (DD-405) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that vessel was hit by a torpedo by a German E-boat and sank in less than a minute, taking 202 of her 273 officers and men with her. Those whose bodies were not recovered, were listed as MIA for a year and a day after the sinking.

Robert Lawrence (Lawrence) Kilgore was born May 15, 1907 to John E. and Margaret Stewart Kilgore. He died May 27, 1982 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo, IA.

Robert served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
