Gerald Max Fink was born Feb. 7, 1920 to Charles C. and Margaret M. “Maggie” Fink. He died Jan. 10, 1945 and is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Gladbrook, IA.

Pvt. Fink served in World War II with the U.S. Army 112th Infantry Regiment, 28th Division and died of wounds received in action in Belgium in the service of his country.
