George R. Dalton was born June 9, 1921 to James Guy and Huldah Leffingwell Dalton. He died June 10, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.

Pvt. Dalton served in World War II with the U.S. Army 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division and died in the service of his country. He was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.

Floyd C. Danielson was born Oct. 30, 1923 to Alfred Byron and Alice Margaret Runner Danielson. He died Jan. 8, 2013 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Petty Officer Danielson served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

John Owen Davies was born Feb. 15, 1909 in London, England to Hugh O. and Dorothy Beckett Davies. He died Oct. 7, 1987 in Fresno, CA. MSgt. 

Davies served with the U.S. Army in World War II and Korea.

William “Bill” Day was born Mar. 18, 1920 to Lester and Evangeline Weigle Day. He died Aug. 12, 2018 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo, IA.

Capt. Day served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a pilot on B-17s, B-24s, B-29s and was a B-17 instructor pilot.
