Capt. Carrigg served in World War II with the U.S. Army 313th Engineer Combat Battalion, 88th Infantry Division and was KIA in Italy. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Richard W. Casteel was born July 10, 1925 to Jerald and Nellie S. Rudolph Casteel. He died Nov. 5, 1945 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo, IA.

Cpl. Casteel served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry and died in the line of duty.

John Christopher Cavanaugh was born June 18 1922 to Christopher Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Malloy Cavanaugh. He died June 26, 1997 and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Waterloo, IA.

Sgt. Cavanaugh served in World War II with the U.S. Army 601st Ordnance Battalion.
