Edward William Kerwin was born Feb. 18, 1921 to William J. and Elizabeth L. McGuire Kerwin. He died Apr. 12, 1994 and is buried in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL.

Maj. Kerwin served with the U.S. Army in World War II and Korea. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
