Elvin Earl White was born Dec. 26, 1921 to Earl and Emma May Helton White. He died July 11, 1943 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 2, Honolulu, Hawaii and has a cenotaph in Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, IA.

Petty Officer White served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Runner (SS-275) which was sunk by a mine, north of Hokkaido, Japan. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Harold E. White was born Mar. 8, 1908 to Ernest E. and Christina Hettinger White. He died Dec. 22, 1989 and is buried in Greenfield Cemetery, Adair, IA.

Pvt. White served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
