Sanborn—Staff Sergeant Ivan Elgersma of Camp Carson, Colorado is visiting his mother, Mrs. Ernest N. Elgersma.

Sanborn—Earl Glozier of San Diego, California visited his mother, Mrs. Viola Glozier, recently en route to a naval air station in Maryland.

Sanborn—Private Alden C. Smith of Fort Knox, Kentucky, is spending a furlough with his wife and son, Tommy.

Sanborn—Ralph Harberts, specialist second class, U.S.N.R. of Chicago, recently visited his wife and twin daughters.

Sanborn—Technician Fifth Grade Maurice Gross, in a paratroop division, recently communicated by cable with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Gross.

Sanborn—Private Donald Barker of the Aberdeen proving grounds, Maryland, is on 21-day sick leave at his home here.

Sanborn—Stella Joyce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Joyce, received a rating as first lieutenant in the army nurse corps. She is serving in England.

Sanborn—Private Arthur Cook, son of Verne Cook: Wilbur Merriam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Merriam and Franklin Frohwein are all stationed at Camp Roberts, California.

Sanborn—Mrs. Charles Boone and daughter are visiting their husband and father at Camp Roberts, California.

Sanborn—Warrant Officer and Mrs. Kenneth Gorsett are spending a 15-day furlough in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Boone, arriving here from Fort Benning, Georgia. He will report for duty at Camp McCain, Mississippi.
