Peter Faiferlick

August 8, 1930 Fort Dodge Messenger


Peter Faiferlick died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Katherine Delaney, 327 eleventh Ave. South, at 8:00 last evening.

Mr. Faiferlick was born October 28, 1841 in Czechoslovakia, Austria where he made his home until 1880. At that time he came to the United States, and settled in Colfax Township, where he farmed until 1905. He then retired and moved to Fort Dodge, where he has made his home ever since.

Mrs. Faiferlick preceded him in death three and a half years ago. He is survived by two sons, Matthew and James Faiferlick, of this city; five daughters, Mrs. Eva Novak, Mrs. Anna Edvenson, Mrs. Margaret Sheker and Mrs. Katherine Delaney, all of this city, and Mrs. Mary Haley, of Dixon, IL., twenty one grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Mr. faiferlick has made his home with Mrs. Delaney since his wife's death, and his own death comes following a long illness.

Funeral services are to be held Saturday morning at 8:00 at the Delaney home, and at 8:30 at Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. W. P. Desmond officiating. Burial will be in Corpus Christi cemetery. Laufersweiler's are in charge.
