Mrs. Ed Bass of Dodge Township died at the home of her son -in-law,
Miller Harden in Yell Township, near Centerville on Friday afternoon at 3
O'clock. Death was caused from cancer and the deceased had been ill for some
time. She was 56 years of age and leaves a husband, 6 sons, 2 daughters.
The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 O'clock from the Baptist
Church in Mineral Ridge. Rev. J.C. Crawford of this city officiating and the
remains laid to rest in the cemetery at that place.
