These come from a leather photo folder that belonged to my great grandfather, Lucien Ormsby. I was told that he carried it with him when he went on his trips.
This photo circa 1903-1904, was taken by George C Acker in Bedford, IA. The subjects are Flora Margaret (left) & Fern Elvira Ormsby (right), the daughters of Lucien & Edna Rachel (Kidder) Ormsby. Flora was born May 27, 1897 in Bedford, Taylor county, IA. She suffered from a brain fever as a very young child which left her disabled for the rest of her life. Fern was born July 30, 1900 in Bedford, Taylor county, IA.
