Another Old Settler Gone

From Wednesday's Daily

Mrs. Ambrose Harvey [Hannah Baldwin] died at her home in Blockton this morning at 6:30. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 10 a. m. Interment at Platteville cemetery.

Mrs. Harvey was one of Taylor County’s oldest settlers. For many years she and her husband lived on a farm on Gay Street, and it is where their little ones grew to maturity, and it was here that the happiest days of her life were spent. A few years ago her husband was called away. Soon after his death Mrs. Harvey moved to Blockton, and it was there she lived until the summons came which called her to meet her loved and loving husband in the land of eternal bliss.

Mrs. Harvey had been ailing for a long time and her death was no surprise, but it was nonetheless the cause of sincere grief to those near and dear, nor to her many friends who knew and loved her.
