If you look carefully through these census, you see that Isaiah's children were displaced to the neighbor's every few years. Some times they are found at various neighbors and some of these kids are never found on the census again. He named his first two children the names of his grandparents Luellen, Francis and Lucinda.

Julia Rowley King Lewellen is buried in Memory Cemetery. Wives Elizabeth and Sarah Jane's burials are unknown. It is not known if Elizabeth Lewellen died in Ray County, Missouri or in Taylor Co, Iowa.

I have a tintype picture of Lucinda Lewellen Irick. A woman from California contacted me and said that she had the tintypes of Lucinda and her husband Andrew Irick and that they were not her family and wondered if I would like to have. Packrat Pat want a picture!! About 3 months after I received the pictures, this woman's house burned in one of those California fires and she lost all of her family photos.

Isaiah Lewellen died in 1893. No death record and the grave was not marked until his son, Marion, died in 1949. A tombstone at that time was put up and has both their names on it. It's on the front row of the Memory Cemetery, just north of the south gate 200 feet or so.
