Isaac Henry Rose was born in Page County, Iowa, August 31, 1860, and died at Wray, Colorado, January 3, 1929, at the age of 68 years, 4 months and 3 days.

He grew to manhood in Iowa, and moved to a homestead south of Vernon, Colorado, 37 years ago, where he joined the Christian Church. About 17 years ago he moved to Wray, Colorado, where he lived until his death.

He married Nettie May Logan, June 15, 1904, and to this union were born three children, Mrs Vesta Allen of Sterling, Colorado, Mable and Henry of Wray, Colorado. He leaves to mourn his death, besides the three children, a mother, who is 90 years of age, four sisters, Mrs Lucinda Weaver and Mrs Mary Benson of Wray, Mrs Nettie Gray of Bend, South Dakota, and Minnie Belle Cook of Denver, Colorado; two grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the home in north Wray Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev Mize of the Nazarene Church. Interment was in Grandview Cemetery.

Mrs Nettie May Rose, a former resident of this area, died October 6 at Pueblo. Her remains were brought to Wray and a committal service was held at Grandview Cemetery Wednesday morning conducted by Rev. W.S. Ickler.

Mrs Rose was born September 15, 1874. Survivors include two daughters, Vesta Allen of National City, California and Mable Brown of Denver and a son, Henry Rose of York, Nebraska.
