Death of Old Citizen
Mr Frank Luellen, know to his friends as "Uncle Frank" died suddenly Wednesday night, a few minutes after 10 o'clock.
The deceased had been attending a meeting and banquet of the Odd Fellows and was on his way home with one of the brothers. Just after passing the home of Dr Webb on Nettleton Ave., he sank to the ground dead. A number of friends took the body to the Carr Undertaking room, where it was prepared for burial.
Mr Luellen came to this section about 30 years ago from Iowa, and during these years has lived in Thayer and Koshkonong where he was well known and liked by a large circle of friends. He is survived by two sons, Loren and Will, who live in Oklahoma, one daughter, Mrs Rose Neville, of Iowa, and one step-daughter, Mrs Josie Huddleston, of this city.
He had reached the age of 84 years, having died on his birthday, and was very active for a man of his age.
The funeral will be held in Koshkonong where he was a member of Red Apple Lodge, I.O.O.F., the hour being 2 pm Saturday.
The entire community extend deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
