The Redline Church of Christ centennial history book describes the establishment of Redline Cemetery in 1894, when 2 acress were set aside for a cemetery in the Redline area. It also indicates, "a discontinued burial place is located on the Arthur Nielsen farm. This site can be seen from the road south of Redline. There are supposed to be a total of 12 bodies buried there."

Bonett family members are believed to be buried in this cemetery also, but that has not been confirmed. The 1885 Iowa State Census lists Albert Bonett (43), wife Margret (40), son Fred (15), and daughters Martha (8) and Louella (6?) living in Polk Township.

Many thanks to Jeanette Knudsen for collecting and submitting info and photos on Michaelsen Cemetery. This old family cemetery is located on what was once the farm of Jeanette's great-grandfather, Lars Michaelsen.
