MACHS drill team takes fifth at state
Mount Ayr Community high school's drill team brought home a fifth place trophy from the state drill team competition over
the weekend. This is the first state placing in several years for the girls. The girls competed in two divisions -
kick and novelty. They received a divsion I rating and fifth place in the small school division in the novelty competition.
The girls had earlier won a second place trophy with their kick routine and a third place trophy for their novelty routine in a
