Those who attended were Sally DUFTY MILLER, Franklin SMITH and wife, Phyllis, Glea REES and husband, Kenny ANDREWS, Max McGEHEE and wife, Mari, Hugh TERWILLIGER and wife, Kay and Nina MORRISON and husband, Jim EASON, all of Mount Ayr; Pyllis CALDWELL and husband, Ed BRYANT, of Clive; Richard WALTERS and wife, Peggy, of Indianola; Glen SICKELS of Afton; Leland SICKELS and wife from Easton, MO; Rose MOTSINGER and huband Dean MERRILL, of Kellerton; and Carolyn WELLS and husband, Carlton GREENMAN, who are married classmates of 1951.

The group was saddened to lose one classmate, Marvin WOOLLUMS of Mount Ayr, this year.

The group meets every six months and enjoy (sic) the gatherings very much.

They don't get into trouble for talking too much, as they probably did in school.

Mount Ayr Class of 1951

For the class of 1951's reunion #60, they came together at the Legion hall with food being prepared and set up by the Legion Auxiliary, excellent food and presentation.

The evening brought together 14 class members and friends. They shared in memories and the past 10 year's experiences with a poem reading which sent them all into uncontrolled laughter. The poem was offered by Louise FROST.

Coming together as friends who have been through a lot, always brings them closer together. These are lifelong relationships which Carlton GREENMAN is sure will continue for the rest of their lives. After all the food and memories, the evening was topped off by consuming a beautiful and large cake, provided by Christi MILLER, daughter of Sallie DUFTY MILLER.

Everyone left the evening looking forward to their next gathering, wherever and whenever it will be.

Others whom they could not have done without are Glea ANDREWS and many others.

~ Nina EASON CARTER GREENMAN.
