OBITUARY ~ FREIDA WOOLLUMS
Freida Pauline MOLER WOOLLUMS, daughter of Elmer and Mary ROACH MOLER, was born April 24, 1933 on a farm near
Bedford, Iowa. She passed away of leukemia complications on June 5, 1992 at the age of 59 years, one month and
When Freida was two years old, she came to live in Mount Ayr, iowa with her aunt and uncle, Dee and Flossie
LAMB and their daughter, Velma GREEN.
She was baptized in April of 1944 into the First Christian Church and became
very active in CWF and teaching Sunday school classes. Freida was one who always put others first.

Freida was united in marriage to Marvin Clair WOOLLUMS on November 1, 1953, at the First Christian
Church in Mount Ayr. This union was blessed with two sons, David Alan and Brian Scott, and a daughter, Marla Kay.
Loving children as she did, Freida and Marvin became foster parents to Viola Jean CRABTREE KIMBALL and Deanna Sue
Freida was full of life. Her heart was open to everyone. She enjoyed reading, a variety of
handwork, camping and being surrounded by family and friends. She was a true friend.
She was preceded in death by
her parents, Elmer MOLER and Mary HUDSON, and Dee and Flossie LAMB; her father-in-law, Clair WOOLLUMS; two
brothers, Lloyd and Bennie MOLER; her sister, Velma GREEN; brother-in-law, Eddie GREEN, and a foster granddaughter,
Survivors include her husband, Marvin; sons, Brian, and David and wife, Sherri of Mount Ayr;
daughter Marla Kay and husband, Lynn CLUTTER of Patterson, Iowa; foster daughters, Viola KIMBALL and
husband Steve, of Fort Riely, Kansas and Deanna GROVES and husband, John, of Mount Ayr, Iowa. She was the proud
grandmother of one grandson, Cody WOOLLUMS, and three granddaughters, Angela CLUTTER and Becky and Jamie WOOLLUMS;
five foster grandchildren, Rachael, Alicia and Sean KIMBALL and Nathan and Shaina GROVES; and three step-grandchildren,
Patrick, Erik and Brian SHEIL.
Other survivors include two brothers, Charles MOLER of Dixon, Missouri and
Ivan MOLER of Lenox, Iowa; a half-sister, Edith MOLER of St. James, Missouri; her mother-in-law, Zelma WOOLLUMS of
Mount Ayr; as well as two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; nine nephews and three nieces.
Funeral services were held
June 8, 1992 from the First Christian church. Casket bearers were Rick MOLER, Randy MOLER, Ronnie MOLER, Dee GREEN,
Eddie GREEN and Kenneth LAMBERT. Ushers were Raymond WALTER and Donald SOLLIDAY. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at
Mount Ayr, Iowa.
