Wilson services held Saturday

Naomi Darlene Wilson, 71, a former resident of Las Animas, died Jan. 22 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kan.

She was born Nov. 30, 1925, in Mt. Ayr, Iowa, to Boyd and Veva (Coverdell) Lutz. She was married to Junior Wilson on June 26, 1948, in Raton, N.M. She worked as a cook and as a convience store clerk in Sublette, Kan., for several years. She and her husband moved to Liberal from Sublette two eyars ago. She was a member of the Christian Church of Sublette.

She is survived by her husband, Junior; six daughters, Linda (Darayl) DeCamp of Liberal, Kan., June (Mike) Reynolds of Wichita, Kan., Vickey (Don) Kimberly of Forest Grove, Ore., Sally Killian of Virginia Beach, Va., Cindy (Curtis) Hardin of Liberal, Kan., Judy (Jeff) Emry of Fort Carson; five brothers, Ed Lutz of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Bob Lutz of Adair, Iowa, Bill Lutz of Las Animas, Gene Lutz of Canon City, Jim Lutz of Las Animas; two sisters, George Lee Eighme of Tingley, Iowa, Mable Meyers of Denver; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Graveside services were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 in the Liberal Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Landis officiating. The Kitch Funeral Home of Liberal was in charge of arrangements.
