OBITUARY ~ DARREL DONNIE WILCOXSON
December 27, 1926 ~ May 28, 2017

Darrel D. Wilcoxson, 90, of Creston, formerly of Lamoni, died Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston. No public services are to be scheduled. Private burial will be at the Trinity Christian Cemetery near Decatur, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the Trinity Christian Church near Decatur. Darrel Donnie Wilcoxson, son of Miriam Madonna (Haskins) Wilcoxson and Everett Glenn Wilcoxson was born December 27, 1926 in Eagleville, MO. He graduated from Eagleville High School. Darrel went on to serve in the United States Army during World War II.

Darrel married Carol L. Elliott in 1947. They made their home in the Lamoni area where he was a lifelong farmer.

Survivors include his spouse; his daughter, Pam (husband John) Weber of Creston; three grandchildren, John Todd, John David and Brooke (and their spouses); five great-grandchildren; a sister, Celesta (husband Paul) Taylor of Carrolltown, MO.

Darrel was preceded in death by his parents, and his four brothers.
