OBITUARY ~ RICHARD LEE WEBB
March 04, 1928 ~ April 12, 2015

Richard Lee Webb was born March 4, 1928 on a farm in Ringgold County, Iowa to Charlie Dee Webb and Jessie May (Marshall) Webb. He attended country school in Ringgold County. Richard was united in marriage to Lola Faye Warner on April 9, 1947. To this union were six children, Linda, Shirley, Danny, Judy, Richard E. and David.

Richard worked for Billy Finch Produce, Hutchinson Fur and as a hired hand for farmers in Ringgold County.

Richard passed away April 12, 2015 at the Shenandoah Hospital at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lola; three children, Judy Rokes, Richard E. Webb and David Glen Webb; two sisters, Georgia Campbell and Thelma Adams; two brothers, Kyle Webb and Wiley Webb.

Left to cherish Richard’s memory are three children, Linda (John) Young and Shirley (Jim) Haley both of Villisca and Danny (Paula) Webb of Kellerton; two brothers, Gary Webb and Dennis Webb both of Jefferson; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr. Officiating was Rev. Ed Shields.

Music included “Daddy’s Hands” and “Go Rest High on That Mountain.”

Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr.
