OBITUARY - PAULINE (MOSIER) YOUNG
Pauline YOUNG died Friday at Regent Court in Corvallis. She was 92.
She was born in Mount Ayr, Iowa, to Simon and Lyda (MOFFATT) MOSIER. She was raised and educated in Mount Ayr, and was
married there on Jan. 18, 1936, to H. Cecil YOUNG. The couple moved to Corvallis in 1937.
Pauline worked at home raising a family of four boys, but was also a long-time piano teacher. In 1967, the couple built
the Grand View Mobil Home Park in Philomath.
She was very active in her church, Highland Community Church. She was also involved with the Child Evangelism Fellowship
and loved to crochet.
Her husband passed away in 1986. She is survived by sons George of Philomath, Charles of Albany, Ron of Portland and Ed
of Summit; brother Earl MOSIER of Elk Grove; sisters Dorothy MATTHEWS of Roseburg, Viola CURRY of Albany and Georgia SMITH
of Albany; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at McHenry Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at McHenry Funeral Home.
