Albert L. He was united in marriage July 19, 1878, to Miss Emaline (sic) PARMLEY and soon after moved to Grinnell, Iowa, at which place they made their home with the exception of four years of which they lived in Ringgold county and farming being his occupation until recently. To this union were bron fourteen children, six daughters and eight sons, all living except one daughter, Lorene, and one son, Harold.

He leaves to mourn his departure a wife and children: Mrs. Carla SCHNEIFF of Briggsdale, Colo.; Mrs. Cora GOSSIN of Sioux City, Iowa; Mrs. Clarence BLAIR and Mrs. Lawrence RICE of Kellerton, Iowa; Mrs. Martin MESSICK of Storm Lake, Iowa; Porter of Newton, Iowa; Park of North Dakota; Oney of Minnesota; Clifford of Wisconsin; Lester of Nebraska; and Denver of Tennessee; and Roscoe of Newton, Iowa; also there are thirty-six grandchildren and other relatives. No one can fill the vacant place of this life.

The funeral was held at High Point, Rev. K. E. NESBIT delivering the sermon. Interment was at the Oliver cemetery south of Ellston.
