OBITUARY - ZELMA "OLEVA" (PRITCHARD) WOOLLUMS

Zelma Oleva WOLLUMS, daughter of Walter Edward and Grace SPEIR PRITCHARD, was born August 14, 1914, and passed away April 15, 1980, at the Mount Ayr Health Care Center at which place she became a resident on February 28, 1980.

Oleva was born on a farm north of Mount Ayr and attended the Flowery Glen rural school. She spent most of her life in Ringgold County with the exception of approximately 25 years on a farm south of Chariton, Iowa.

On June 28, 1944, she was united in marriage to Leo WOOLLUMS. They were never blessed with children of their own but did enjoy the company of a cousin, Terry BOLLINGER, who spent considerable time in their home.

Oleva was a kind and loving wife and was the happiest when preparing meals in her kitchen and working in her garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Esther in 1936; and one brother, Lewis in 1967.

Left to cherish her memory is her faithful companion, Leo; one sister, Rosetta LINK, Mount Ayr; four brothers, Charles and Ivan PRITCHARD of Delphos, Arthur PRITCHARD of Tingley, and Albert PRITCHARD of Boulder, Colo.; also five sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and many other relatives adn firends.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. April 17, 1980 from the Rhoades-Wilson Funeral Home in Mount Ayr with Pastor Milt HENDERSON officiateing. Burial was in Maple Row Cemetery at Kellerton, Iowa. Organist was Mrs. Kathleen HAROVER and music by Mrs. Norma TAYLOR. Casketbearers were Algie LINK, Jim McINTOSH, Bill PRITCHARD, Wlater PRITCHARD, Warren DRAKE and Kenneth QUICK.
