She came with her parents to America in 1870. She attended Public School and grew to womanhood. On March 8, 1892, she was united in marriage to Newton Wolford and they came to Iowa settling north of Clearfield whence they moved to Clearfield. The husband died in May 1924. Mrs. Wolford was a consistent member of the Methodist church from girlhood and was a faithful worker in both Sunday School and the church activities as long as her health permitted. She was much interested in patriotic work and at one time was a member of the Woman's Relief Corps 343 for 23 consecutive years. She is survived by one sister Fredricka Larson of Galesburg Ill., and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held on July 13 at 2 p. m. at the Clearfield Methodist church, with interment in the Clearfield Cemetery. Coming to attend the services were Roy Larson of Galesburg and Newton and Ernest Wolford of Stronghurst, Ill.
