OBITUARY - LEE M. WILLSIE, 65, SCHOOL COUNSELOR

Lee M. WILLSIE, a retired Hazelwood School District guidance counselor, died Monday [Jan. 29, 1990] at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton after suffering from a heart ailment for several months. He was 65. [born July 12, 1924]

Mr. WILLSIE, of St. Charles, began as a counselor in the Hazelwood School District in 1970. From 1975 on, he was a counselor at Hazelwood West Senior High. Mr. WILLSIE attended Graceland and Drake universities in Iowa and received his bachelor's degree from Drake. He was active in the National Education Association, the Missouri State Teachers Association, the Hazelwood Teachers Association and Masonic Lodge 438 in Kellerton, Iowa.

A funeral service will be at 11 am today at Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street, St. Charles. Interment at Saint Charles Memorial Garden, Saint Charles, St. Charles County, Missouri.

NOTE: Lee M. and Ruby M. WILLSIE were married June 4, 1940.
