OBITUARY.

Homer Jacob WAGGONER was born March 4, 1886, at Tingley, Iowa, [the son of John E. and Mary Martha (GOWEY) WAGGONER] and died June 7, 1926, at his home near Ellston, Iowa, aged 40 years, three months and three days. On March 27, 1907, he was united in marriage with Bernice NOBLE, to which union were born seven children. Three of these children preceded their father to the better world. Wilma, Marvin J. and Mildred Irene. The last named died at the age of thirteen years. Aldon, Neva, Lillie and Lena survive. He also leaves a wife, a mother and one brother, Rolla, of Ellston, all of whom were present at the time of his death.

The funeral was held at the home northeast of town Wednesday forenoon where a large number gathered to listen to the sermon which was delivered by Rev. K. E. NESBIT and the favorite hymns chosen by the family were sung. At the close of these services the remains were followed by a large number of the sympathizing friends and neighbors to the Ellston (sic) cemetery, where interment took place.

NOTE: Homer was interred at Tingley Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa.

Homer's father John E. WAGGONER was born May 4, 1847, and died February 1, 1908. Homer's mother Mary Martha (GOWEY) WAGGONER was born on November 6, 1849, and died on February 16, 1928. They were interred at Tingley Cemetery.

Bernice L. (NOBLE) WAGGONER was born in 1887, and died in 1966 with interment at Tingley Cemetery. Of Bernice L. (NOBLE) and Homer Jacob WAGGONER's children:
Mildred Irene WAGGONER was born in 1909; died in 1922
Wilma Loraine WAGGONER was born on December 30, 1913, and died at the age of one month and 21 days on February 20, 1914
Marvin J. WAGGONER was born and died in 1919. All interments at Tingley Cemetery.
