OBITUARY - KATHRYN (RICHARDSON) UTTERBACK

Kathryn Jean UTTERBACK, 75, of Creston died March 2, 2006, at Greater Regional Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Creston. The Rev. Leonard KENKEL will officiate the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Creston. Open visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today with 6 to 8 p.m. family visitation and 7 p.m. rosary prayer service today at Powers Funeral Home, 601 New York Ave. Memorials can be directed to the family.

Mrs. UTTERBACK, daughter of Theresa Elizabeth (WECKMAN) and Ralph RICHARDSON, was born December 17, 1930, in Creston. She graduated from Creston High School in 1948, then worked as a telephone operator.

On September 29, 1953, she married Oral Dean UTTERBACK in Creston. She lived in Creston her whole life, and worked as a cook at St. Malachy School, Kings Café and American Legion. She then worked at Bunn-O-Matic, Easter's deli and Creston Congregate Meal Site. She was a member of Holy Spirit Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Kathryn (husband Thomas) LONG of Stockton, Mo., Margaret Ann "Maggie" (husband Glen) GATES of Diagonal and Melinda Jean "Roger" UTTERBACK (husband Thomas HEALEY) of Coldwater, Miss.; six grandchildren, Caleb (wife Carrie) UTTERBACK, Jacob UTTERBACK-MILLER, Marty HEALEY, Theresa LONG, James LONG, Christine LONG.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Paul RICHARDSON.
