OBITUARY.

John H. TODD gravestone.jpg JOHN H. TODD. This brother died on Monday the 17th after a long sickness. Indeed he has been supposed to be at deaths door, for the last three years, and has patiently suffered all the time. He was aged twenty-six years, he was born in Beaver county, Pa. He was of a reserved and quiet disposition, and had many friends. He was buried in Goshen, the funeral services having taken place at the U. P. Church in Mt. Ayr a large congregation being in attendance. Rev. TEDFORD said that he had expected his death each day for three years.

NOTE: John H. TODD was aged 26 years, 2 months and 14 days at the time of his death on August 17, 1885. He was interred at Bethel Cemetery near Diagonal, Ringgold County, Iowa. John was the son of Henry TODD (1833-1910) and Mary J. (ELLIOTT) TODD who died at the age of nineteen on November 14, 1881 with her interment at Bethel Cemetery. John's sister, Minnie May died at the age of nineteen on December 10, 1887 with interment at Bethel Cemetery.
