Galen Ray St. John of Canton, Texas died Tuesday March 8, 2016, in Van Zandt County, Texas.
Galen was the son of Doyle R. St. John and Shelia Lehman St. John. He was born at Landstuhl Rhineland Pfalz, Germany, March 10, 1973. While his father was stationded at Ramstein Headquarters USAF Europe.
Galen leaves this world a well-loved man and will surely be welcomed into Heaven by his Savior, family and friends.
Galen was raised in rural Decatur County Iowa, graduated from Grand Valley High School in Kellerton, Iowa. He became an accomplished auto body repair and restoration technician, extremely knowledgably in emergency towing and recovery in the family businesses. Galen worked extremely hard during his life, he would help anyone anytime including giving the shirt off of his back if needed.
Galen's children were the world to him. He was devastated by not having his family and children together as one unit. Galen was not perfect he had his faults as we all do however no one can refute, the love and care he showered upon his family nor the love Emily, Allan and Jessie have for him.
Galen is survived by his three children, Emily, Allen and Jessie, Parents Doyle and Shelia of Canton, Texas, Sister, Sharon (Rick) Andrews of Des Moines, Iowa, Brother, Shawn (Sandra) St. John of Canton, Texas. Maternal Grandmother Mattie Lehman of Austin, Texas, paternal Grandfather Galen B. St. John of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his Grandmother Margaret L. Rauch St. John, Grandfather Denny Lee Lehman.
It would be an understatement to say he will not be missed by family and friends.

The Jackson Baptist Church Ladies will be providing a family meal starting at 11:00 am, at Jackson Baptist Church 6040 FM 1651 @ Hwy. 198 South of Canton, Texas 75103.
Visitation starting at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Monday March 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Eubank Funeral Home, 27532 State Hwy. 64, Canton, Texas 75103.
