Almost all of her life with the exception of the past nine months was spent in Taylor and Ringgold counties. The family moved in December of 1950 to Phoenix, with the hope that the climate would be beneficial to Mrs. STEPHENS' health.

Mr. and Mrs. STEPHENS became members of the United Presbyterian Church in Clearfield, in April, 1950, and she was faithful in attendance as long as her health permitted.

To cherish her memory are her devoted husband; three daughters; a son-in-law, Marvin WYER; a grandson, Jimmy; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Timon YOUNG, of Mount Ayr; two sisters, Iona SLOAN, of Jefferson, and Dorothy SEEVERS, of Scott City, Kan.; five brothers, George, of Dallas, Ore., Cecil and Wayland, of Philomath, Ore., Russell, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Gerald, of Mount Ayr; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held September 29, from the United Presbyterian Church in Clearfield, conducted by the Rev. Bruce ANDERSON. Interment was in the Clearfield Cemetery.
