OBITUARY ~ AMOS M. ST. CLAIR

Amos M. St. CLAIR, son of Robert Williams and Mary Ann JENKINS St. CLAIR, was born February 23, 1907, near Red Oak, Iowa, and died at the Ringgold County Hospital on October 16, 1975, at the age of 68 years, seven months and 23 days.

As a boy he attended the Akron School in Misouri. He lived at various times in his life in South Dakota, Missouri and Iowa. Most of his lifetime was spent in Harrison County, Mo.

Amos was preceded in death by his father and mother; a young sister, Lucy St. CLAIR; a sister, Alice St. CLAIR, and one brother, John St. CLAIR.

He is survived by his brother, David St. CLAIR and several cousins, including Elaine PAGE of Bethany, Mo.

Amos was a member of the First Christian Church of Mount Ayr, Iowa. He loved gardening and flowers and spent many fond moments raising vegetables and roses.

Funeral services were held October 19, at the Rhoades-Wilson Funeral Home with his friend and pastor, Rev. Larry SQUIER, officiating. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
