OBITUARY ~ PATRICIA ANN "PATTY" SON
June 05, 1953 ~ November, 2014

Patricia Ann Son was born June 5, 1953 in Maryville, Missouri to Lloyd Son Jr. and Virginia Barnes Son of rural Grant City, Missouri.

The younger years other life were spent in and near Grant City, Missouri. In August of 1960, her mother married Joseph W. Seaton of Delphos, Iowa and the family moved to rural Delphos to the family farm. It was a brand new life for all the family, cattle, hogs, ponies, baby chickens, dogs and cats, all their own with ponds to fish in.

Patty attended Ringgold County rural schools until they were closed and became one school in 1962 located in Mount Ayr, Iowa, She graduated from Mount Ayr, Iowa in May, 1972.

Patricia was baptized April 17, 1966 by Rev. Norman Noble at the Delphos Baptist Church as was her brother Michael.

Just before graduation she met her sweetheart, Cpl Eugene Aniszewski of U.S.M.C They became engaged before he returned to duty and they correspond! through the summer and were married at the Delphos Baptist Church September 28, 1972. She returned with him to his post at Camp LaJune, South Carolina where they were for a few months before being transferred to Camp Pendleton for the remainder of his service time, They continued to live in California for the rest of their time together, but were later divorced, Patty continued to live in and near San Francisco and San Jose, California where she found many friends that she loved dearly, among them were Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Lewis and family of Santa Clara California,

Patty was preceded in death by one brother, Michael, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Barnes, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Son Sr., and step mother Genevieve Son.

Surviving are mother and step-father, Virginia and Harold Stephenson of Grant City, Missouri, father, Lloyd Son Jr. of Amazonia, Missouri; brothers: Gary Son and wife Eva of Hockley, Texas, Terry Son of Grant City, Missouri and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Grant City Baptist Church in Grant City, Missouri. Pastor Barton Shields will officiate, assisted by Pastor Darin Drury. Inernment will be at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City.
