OBITUARY ~ JUNE H. SKINNER

June Henry SKINNER, 70, died May 30 [1970] in the Magic Valley Memorial Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho, following a brief illness.

A son of Cyrus B. and Della [(CHUMBLEY)] SKINNER, he was born June 29, 1899, near Kellerton, Iowa. He grew up in Iowa; attended school there and was in military service from February 5, 1918 until June 18, 1919, during World War I. In 1937, he moved to Twin Falls and for 11 years was employed in the Perrine Hotel.

On July 12, 1930, he was united in marriage with Virgie L. SMITH at Grant City, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, five brothers and one grandson.

Survivors include his widow, Virgie, 464 Duvall Courts, Twin Falls; three daughters, June (Mrs. Carl NISSON), of Twin Falls, Vivian (Mrs. Max BENNETT), Royal City, Wash., and Rexene (Mrs. Dennis JOHNSON), of Moses Lake, Wash.; a son, Virgil (Bud) SKINNER of Seattle, Wash.; four brothers, Paul SKINNER and Arthur SKINNER of Portland, Ore.; Victor SKINNER of Mount Ayr; and Glen SKINNER of Fort Madison; a sister, Mrs. Pauline BLAZEK of National City, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held June 3 from the White Mortuary and burial was at Twin Falls.
