My grandfather is many things --
He is the leader of my family,
He is the head of his
He is the rock that I lean on
When I feel alone.
He is my guidance
When I lose my way;
He is the sunshine that brightens
all of my days.
He is my faithful companion
Whenever I need a friend.
He is the one man I know
Whose love will never end.
And to me my grandfather
Will always be with me.
No matter where I am, or where I go
This very special man I love
who I'll keep forever in my heart
Will always be
The savior of my saddest days,
and my very own special hero.
