OBITUARY ~ WILLARD H. SMITH

REDDING, IOWA: Willard H. SMITH, 81, died July 16, 1973 in Leon, IA. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Pearl STAFFORD of St. Joseph, MO; and a brother, Eddie SMITH.

Interment was at the Redding Cemetery under the direction of Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home.

OBITUARY ~ WILLARD H. SMITH

Willard Homer SMITH, son of Sandford and Anna ROBINSON SMITH, was born December 24, 1982, near Lamoni, Iowa, and departed this life July 16, 1973, in the Westview Acres Nursing Home at Leon, at the age of 80 years, six months and 21 days.

He spent most of his life with his mother on a farm near Hatfield, Mo. After her death, he moved to Mount Ayr, where he remained until entering Westview Acres.

Preceding him in death were his parents, five sisters and two brothers.

Those who survive are a sister, Mrs. Pearl STAFFORD, and husband, James; a brother, Eddie SMITH, and wife, Deva, of Redding; nieces; nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held July 18, from the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Ward CAMPBELL. Burial was in the Redding Cemetery.
