OBITUARY - VYLETTA (OVERHOLSER) SCHOTT

Sept. 19, 1912 - March 6, 2006

Vyletta SCHOTT, 93, died Monday, March 6, 2006, at Waukesha Springs Nursing Home.

She was born in Diagonal, Iowa, on Sept. 19, 1912, to Clayton Clark OVERHOLSER and Adella (nee PLACE) OVERHOLSER.

She had spent the last 10 years living in Waukesha [WI] at Avalon Square, where she commissioned three stained glass windows for the new chapel. Vyletta also attended St. Matthias Episcopal Church.

She is lovingly survived by her son, Clayton (Carol) SCHOTT of Waukesha; 10 grandchildren, Dianne (Donald) BOELKE, Mary (Robert) BULLOCK, Roger E. SCHOTT, Christopher TENNESSEN, Andrew TENNESSEN, Daniel (Carrie) TENNESSEN, Kristin (Leroy) KUKOWSKI, Kevin SCHOTT, David TENNESSEN and Darin SCHOTT; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson, Benjamin RADTKE. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Hank" SCHOTT; her son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Elizabeth SCHOTT; brothers and sisters, Geneva, Ameretta, Samuel and Stanley; and three grandchildren.

Visitation for Vyletta will be held from 11 a.m. until the noon funeral service Saturday, March 18, at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel, 899 Highway 15 South, Hutchinson, Minn. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson. A memorial service for Vyletta will be held locally at 10 a.m. Monday, March 20, at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 111 E. Main St., Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Vitas Hospice, 2675 N. Mayfair Road, Suite 480, Wauwatosa, WI 53226; or St. Matthias Episcopal Church are appreciated.
