OBITUARY - DWIGHT R. RUSH

Dwight R. RUSH, 93, born March 11, 1906, in Ringold County, Iowa, to Isaac and Jessie (JOHNSON) RUSH, and died August 22, 1999, in Pueblo. Mr. RUSH married Madge E. COMBS in Mount Ayr, Iowa, June 26, 1926.

Mr. RUSH was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Madge E. RUSH - son, Robert D. RUSH - grandson, Gary L. RUSH - brothers, Clyde, Percy, Lyle and Harvey RUSH - and sisters, Ona MILLER and Alta COLLINS. He is survived by daughter, Shirley ROCCO - son-in-law, Alex ROCC - granddaughters, Susan ROCCO-McKEEL and Robin RUSH - grandson-in-law, Michael McKEEL, Parker - grandsons, Alan and Michael ROCCO, Pueblo - granddaughter-in-law, Debra ROCCO - great-granddaughter, Holly ROCCO - great-grandsons, Nicholas and Brandon ROCCO-McKEEL and Seth and Alex ROCCO - sisters, Jessie TALLMAN and Della STUCK: sister-in-laws, Mildred EIGHMY and Lorene COMBS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. RUSH retired as a plumber stationary engineer from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, in 1968 after 23 years of service. He was a faithful member and worker of the First Christian Church of Greeley. He spent many happy hours gardening and relaying family history from his phenomenal memory to those many nieces and nephews when they visited.

Services were held 2 p.m. Thursday, Adamson Mortuary, 47th Ave. and 20th St., Greeley. In lieu of flowers and food, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 3545 Tamarac Drive, Suite 200, Denver, CO 80237.
