Survivors include his wife, Hazel; [children], Norman and Gertrude JENNINGS of Ellston, Richard and Joyce ROSS of Shannon City, David and Ginger ROSS of Shannon City, Gary and Josephine COOK, Maryville, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Andy of Afton, William of Mountain View, Mo., and Floyd of Cainsville, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and two brothers.

Grandpa, for all the stories you've told us,
For all the tales you'd weave,
About the ones before us and
When we were just babies.
You talked of our Great Greats
And today's little one.
You've given us something special,
Something we can build upon.
You talked in fact and fiction
And sometimes the tales were long.
But, you can find your stories where you left them,
Where stories belong.
To your children and grandchildren,
And their children, too.
Your stories and your wisdom will
Make their way through.
Thank you for the knowledge
That you've passed on to us,
We all love you, Grandpa,
And may God forever bless.
From the Grandchildren.
