DEATH CLAIMS MARION ROMANS

Marion L. ROMANS, wife of William P. ROMANS, died today at ther home, E1124 Nora.

Born in Benton, Iowa, Mrs. ROMANS first came to Spokane with her parents shortly before the turn of the century. Later the family moved to Seattle, where she and Mr. ROMANS were married in 1902.

The family returned to Spokane in 1912 and resided here since. Mr. ROMANS, who retired eight years ago, was secretary for the Columbia basin and agricultural committees of the Spokane Chamber of Commerce for 33 years.

Mrs. ROMANS was a member of Electra chapter, Order of Eastern Star, a life member of the Spokane Foral association, a member of the Spokane Women's Republican club, ProAmerica, Federation of Women's Clubs and the Spokane Women's club and attended St. Paul's Methodist church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Fred FERRELL, and a son, George E. ROMANS, both of Spokane; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The body is at Smith's.
