OBITUARY - EMMA ELIZABETH ROBBINS.
Emma Elizabeth ROBBINS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ephram ROBBINS, was born at Hamden, Ohio, Dec. 15, 1864, and died at the
home of her brother, C. H. ROBBINS, at Grand River, Iowa, Nov. 7, 1921, aged 56 years, 10 mo. and 22 day.
She moved with
her parents to Taylor County, Iowa, Jan. 6th, 1888, where she lived until the death of her mother, Nov. 8, 1814. She then
went to make her home with her brother, C. H. ROBBINS.
She united with the Methodist church at Hamden, Ohio, when a young
girl and remained a member of the same until her removal to Iowa when she became a member of the Christian church at Clearfield,
Iowa, where she remained a faithful member to the time of her death.
During her long illness she has been patient and when
told there was no hope of her recovery she expressed her desire to meet her Savior and loved ones gone before.
to mourn her death two brothers, C. H. ROBBINS, of Grand River, Iowa, and A. F. ROBBINS, of Hamden, Ohio and one sister,
Mrs. Martha SCOTHORN of Beaconsfield, Iowa, besides other relatives and a host of other friends.
Services were held in
the Methodist church of Grand River. [Interment at Clearfield Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa.]
